Welcome back! A happy new year to you all. I hope you had a restful and pleasant fall break. Here is the first tech Tuesday installment of the year. For today's Tech Tuesday, I want to share a great timeline creation tool called Meograph. Meograph is not your average timeline creation tool. It's awesome (it really is). Meograph could be used to summarize all sorts of content from Science to Language Arts. Meograph is easy to share. It can be shared as a link or embedded into blogs and websites. Shake up the way kids synthesize and present information. Make sure to play the demo. As a side note, you may need to optimize google chrome. See you next Tuesday.
For today's Tech Tuesday, I wanted to share a cool new site I just learned about called Flipsnack. The website is simple and straightforward. The service allows you to upload your PDF documents and convert them to these amazing looking flip books. The "book" can then be shared through email, downloaded or embedded on a website.
The new Common Core Standards will require that students digitally publish their work. Flipsnack would be a great way to do it. Give it a try. If you want to see a sample of a flip book check out my latest newsletter as a Flipsnack. It's just two pages but you get the idea. It took well under three minutes to turn it into a flipbook!
